FREEDOM ONE ACADEMY

Prerequisites & Requirements

If you think you may possibly be intersted in enrolling in FreedomOne Academy we recommend that you attend an informational meeting where we discuss all the different aspects of the school in more detail and answer any questions anyone may have.

PREREQUISITES

FreedomOne Academy is geared for those who are hungry to move in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.  While students are by no means expected to be Bible scholars to enroll in FreedomOne Academy, it is expected that they already have a solid Biblical foundation that can be built upon.  Students must also demonstrate that they have been a regular attender of a church or fellowship.

REQUIREMENTS

While attending FreedomOne Academy definitely requires commitment and some sacrafice, the school is geared so that the average working person can complete it, however, may require sacraficing or laying down some other things for a season.  Students attending FreedomOne Academy will be expected to commit to the following:

  • Attending 2.5 hour classes every Sunday evening from September through May (excluding holiday weekends).
  • Completing 2-4 hours of outside homework each week.  This may include reading chapters from a book, watching a video, or particpating in an outreach.
  • Participating in group discussions and assignments.
  • Attending another church together 3-4 Sunday mornings throughout the school year.
  • Participating in a few pre-scheduled outreach activities throughout the year outside of class.
  • Spending personal time in the Word each day.

We recognize there there may be times a student is not able to attend a class due to a pre-scheduled vacation or occasion.  For this reason, we allow three absences per school year.  Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration and makeup homework may be required for additional absenses.  Being each student's level of involvement and engagement (or lack thereof) impacts others in the class, we ask that if you are not able to commit to the above that you wait until a time you are able to commit.
